How to Share My Screen

Want to show your prospect what you mean? Share your offer while you keep talking on the phone. They just open a link — no installation or registration needed.

Install Screen Share for Chrome

Step #1: Install the extension if you haven’t already

Open Screen Share in the Chrome Web Store and click “Add to Chrome”.

Step #2: Click the extension icon

Click the Screen Share icon in your Chrome toolbar to open the extension.

Step #3: Choose what to share

There are a few options to choose from.

Screen Share source options: Current tab, Specific tab, Window, and Display.

Pick Current tab or Specific tab if you want to share a single tab. This gives you maximum control over what your prospect sees, though switching tabs may require a few simple interactions with the extension. Ideal when you need to share a single web page.

Showing a quote? Share that tab and walk your prospect through the numbers.

Pick Window if you want to share a full Chrome window or another application. It works with desktop apps too! Ideal when you need to show an application such as Microsoft Word, or share a whole Chrome window so you can quickly switch between tabs.

Pick Display if you want to share your entire desktop across multiple applications. Ideal when you need to show your prospect a more complex workflow that involves switching between apps.

Anything visible on that display will be shared, so check what’s open first.

Check the preview to see what you’re sharing. You stay in control and can stop sharing whenever you need to.

You can also switch between sharing modes during a single session without asking your prospect to rejoin! This flexibility helps you adapt to the conversation and improve your chances of closing the sale.

Step #4: Share a link

It’s easy for a prospect to join your stream. There are three options:

Send a link

If you can send your prospect an SMS or reach them through another communication channel, just send them a link. They can view your stream right away, with no installation or registration required, and join in seconds.

Read out a code

Once sharing starts, you’ll have a short five-character code. Read it out to your prospect and ask them to open screen-share.uk, click “Join a screen share” at the top of the page, and enter the code.

Send through WhatsApp

If you have WhatsApp Desktop installed, you can quickly share a link through the WhatsApp integration. Enter your prospect’s phone number and click the share button. We’ll prefill a message for you to edit and send.

Step #5: Close the sale!

Make the most of the product’s features, from easy joining to clear screen sharing, to earn your prospect’s trust and close the deal! Show the offer, answer their questions, and help them feel confident about the next step.
